These third parties may use tracking technologies to collect information about you when you use the App, including tools, like Mixpanel, Google Analytics, SegementIO, Bugsnag, Instabug, Firebase, LiveChat, Facebook SDK and OneSignal. The information they collect may include analytics information, device information and location information, as well as your email address.
In addition, all bank account information is processed directly by our third-party providers. We do not process, record or maintain your credit card or bank account information, or your social security number (if your social security number is required). You should familiarize yourself with the privacy policies of our financial service providers.
We do not control these third parties’ tracking technologies or how they may be used. If you have any questions, you should contact the responsible provider directly. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information without your explicit consent. You will not be able to become an investor or use all of the features that we offer through the App. Depending on the functionality associated with the App feature you are using, you may be able to update or delete certain of your personal information on the App. Accordingly, at your request, we will take reasonable steps to remove your personal information from our databases. You may also send us an email at hi@landa.app to request access to, correct or delete any personal information that you have provided to us. We cannot delete your personal information except by also deleting your user account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.
This Policy applies only to information collected on the App or in emails, texts and other electronic communications sent through or in connection with the App. The App may contain links to other sites that are not owned or controlled by Landa. Landa is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites, and we encourage you to be aware when you leave the App and to read the privacy statements of each and every site that collects your information.
California law permits users who are California residents to request and obtain from us once a year, free of charge, a list of the third parties to whom we have disclosed their personal information (if any) for such third parties’ direct marketing purposes in the prior calendar year, as well as the type of personal information disclosed to those parties. However, we do not share your personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
The App currently does not respond to “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) signals and operates as described in this Policy whether or not a DNT signal is received. If we do so in the future, we will describe how we do so in this Policy.
We have put in place commercially-reasonable security systems designed to prevent unauthorized access to or disclosure of personal information, and we take reasonable steps to secure and safeguard this information against loss, theft, and unauthorized use, disclosure, or modification. With that said, there is no such thing as 100% security of the networks, servers, and databases we operate or that are operated on our behalf. Before submitting any personal information via the App, please be aware of these inherent risks and understand that you do so at your own risk.
We keep your personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, while we have a legitimate business need to do so in connection with your account, or as required by law (e.g., for tax, legal, accounting or other purposes), whichever is longer.
Landa has relationships with certain service providers in order to provide its services to you. Landa has contracted with third party providers.
For purposes of satisfying “Know Your Customer” requirements, Landa asks for your identifying information, such as your name, email address, tax identification number, address, telephone number, date of birth, videos, and photographs that may contain images of your face, including your driver’s license or government-issued identification number or card. Landa will also collect information pertaining to your account transactions. Your personal information will be shared with third party providers for KYC purposes only.
We may update or modify this Policy at any time, which will become effective as of our posting on the App. In addition to posting on the App, we will notify you that this Policy has been changed through an in-App alert the first time you use the App after we make the change.
