Move Out

Move Out Checklist

As you're getting ready to move out, please pay attention to the following MOVE OUT PROCEDURES Please remember to keep the utilities on for at least 3 business days after the end of your lease agreement (to complete the Move Out Inspection). Nail Holes – Please do not try to touch up (patch paint) walls. A few small nail holes per room would be considered normal wear and tear. If there are excessive nail holes or the holes are larger than a small picture hanging nail, the areas should be patched and the walls painted corner to corner (or a comparable charge will be assessed) Trash – All trash must be removed from the property prior to the move out inspection. Please do not leave any trash in the garage or the trash cans. If any trash is left at the property at the time of the move out inspection, the cost to remove the trash will be assessed. All keys, openers, amenity cards, mailbox keys, etc. need to be returned to avoid replacement charges. Rental units need to be returned in clean, ready-to-rent condition. That means that the unit should be completely cleaned, including appliances, cabinets, drawers, blinds, window sills, baseboards, etc. If you are responsible for lawn maintenance, please ensure that the grass is mowed and free of weeds, the shrubs are trimmed and well maintained, the mulch is refreshed in planting areas, and the grounds are free of leaves, debris, etc. Rental units should be free of all personal belongings, as well as free of trash and debris. Please be sure to leave your bank connected to the app for the security deposit or provide banking info so that we can send it to you.
